Friends,

I met Bev and her posse (husband, daughter and granddaughter) yesterday and it was great!  Bev is a real sweetie and meeting her increased my “happiness quotient” 10 fold. 

It is interesting how we share some H&N side effects (eating, talking, swallowing, etc.), it made me feel very normal.  I guess it takes one to know one.

Needless to say, Oregon is a better place with Bev in it.

    My tech team couldn't get the picture up last night.  I looked for an old message from John on how to add pictures, but couldn't find it.  It was wonderful to meet you.  I hope I have more visits to Oregon in my future.

    matt and bev, this news just makes my day!  it really makes my heart feel good when members get to actually meet.  i love the pics and you both look real good.  i love putting the face with the name.  thank you for sharing this as it really makes one feel good.  i hope there will be more meetings in the future.

    I wish i could put into words

    I wish i could put into words how happy it makes me fell when I read that some of our family members got to meet in person.  it truly makes me very happy.  I hope to meet some of you before my time is up and I look forward to the day that happens.  I hope others get to meet up too.  God bless you all and thank you for being part of this wonderful family I've come to love and appreciate!

    We got to the restaurant and I wondered how I would know who Matt was.  I am easy to find with the painted lense!

    Friends,

    In my first post KTeacher wrote “Good luck to you in the journey to eat”, little did I know my journey would include lunch with Bev (someday). To be honest, the visit was way too short, we left a lot unsaid at the H&N table.

    As for recognition, Bev rolls with hip crowd, she was easy to spy correctly.  As for me, I know who I am (I think).
