Good News
22 Months post treatment. NED! I saw my Medical Oncologist and Speech Pathologist and was told to book an appointment for 1 YEAR! I see my Rad Onc and ENT in May and if all goes well, next appointment will be November. I'm basically at the 2 year mark (April 24th is the official anniversary) and that, as we know, is the big hump to get over.
The acupuncture has been very beneficial and I'll continue to get treatments as long as I'm getting results. Still doing my swallowing exercises as it's just one of those things we need to do. Keeping up with the dental hygiene and all looks good. Hopefully, my heart is holding out. I go for a stress test tomorrow to make sure all the plumbing is functional. If all goes well, I can finally breathe a well deserved sigh of relief.
Best wishes to all. Glad to see those making progress and sad to see those having to fight the beast and especially those that are losing the battle and those we've lost. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

That is great news "T"
Two years NED and don't have to go back for one year. That is such good news and it must be such a relief to you as well. Please pop in ever so often and just say Hi. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers. You were a big help in some of my dark times, and I thank you for being there with support.

Congrats!!!
had my last checkup mid January and was NED...docs want me to come back in July for my last six monther and then on to yearly. Two year date is April 19 but feel confident have made it to the major two year mark. Although a lot has happened it just seems like yesterday I started this crazy journey. There is light at the end of treatment and so thankful for those who assisted/encouraged me on this Part of the journey.

Outstanding news to read tonight. Thank you for keeping us in the loop, I hope all goes well with the stress test tomorrow.
My Best to You and Everyone Here
Went for the test. I did get the chest pain while on the treadmill BUT, there was nothing that was a red flag in the readings or pics and they sent me home. They said my Doc will contact me is something is up. If it's just "one of those things" and part of the "new normal", I can live with it
