    WHOO HOO for YOU!!!!

Last day of rads was just about the best day I ever had in my life....tomorrow, you can lounge and rest instead of getting dressed and going to town....it feels like the first day of vacation always felt.

Hope you did a jig around your kitchen table.

The next part might just be healing, with no backslide.....I didn't do anything after rads, but get better....

    Congratulations

RAD are done and now the "Slow cooker", but no more RAD. You will get through this as well as the rest you have. Now is when you can think about tomorrow's.

    Excellent news!

My doctor told me it would be at least four weeks before I "turned the corner" and it took me at least that long before I started feeling better.  Best wishes for healing and recovery for you.

    Yahoo!!!

now one day at a time and know it gets better each day! Almost two years ago for me and the treatment was the hardest part. Focus on just today and taking those small steps at first. It can be frustrating and in all honesty a pain in the butt or the throat in our case! One step in front of the other and one day at a time and before you know it --it's a week, it's a month and then a year! Keep positive and know it will take time. Blessing on the road to recovery and your new normal!

    Congrats Sharon

So happy to hear you're done! My husband finished his radiation on 2/5. He is just now starting to feel better (today) - at almost four weeks post treatment. When we left after his last treatment someone said, "When you come back in two weeks, you'll be a new person." He was NOT doing well at that point and even though I knew it was unrealistic, I clung to that possibility. So I think for many people four weeks to start improving is more reasonable. I hope you're ahead of the curve. Nancy
