Cancer Survivor Network........and the Survivor part can be a day or a week or a month or a year......sometimes we have to just survive for another FIVE MINUTES. So glad you are doing well and have reached the 7 year mark. In Feb of 2003 I was doing my Radiation after the Chemo and this year at the end of Feb I will be TWELVE YEARS from End of Treatment & almost 13 years from Diagnosis. **** I remember vividly believing that I would not live to see 70.....and I will be 79 in June. Now I'm not 100% and there are a few problems of course.........but I'm here today and am Grateful for Each Moment............. Sending BIG HUGS and Prayers for Strength and Courage.

i found this site...due to i used to say I had cancer/ never thought of myself as a survior-until a friends with skin cancer/ surgery (no treatments) said she was a survivor. I then found this site to see if in fact I was-since NO chemo-i had surgery and radiation.
I AM...yipppeee
I wish I had found this site long ago , while i was going through all to the tests, surgeries (2 lumpecomties and hystercomty due to tamoxifin)

Three years ago next week I had my surgery, a double mastectomy. That April I began chemo, which ended mid-July that year. That August I started rads and tamoxifen.
People who know me, whether at work (school), around town, or at church will say that did they not know that I have dealt with bc, they would have no idea. For that I am thankful.
I will say that my life has changed in a lot of ways -- many of them good.
Congrats, Disney. (Stay warm, BTW)
