Had onocolgist appt this am...canceled
I had an appt at 10 am today. I called yeserday to confirma nd make sure they had all my test results- I was good to go...TEN mins later I got a call saying it has to be canceled. (I had put in for half sick day at work)-so the I canceled the sick day)
This am I get a call-can you come in this afternoon at 1:30? I told them I didnt' think it would fly with my boss making these abrupt changes all within 24 hrs..
so now I must wait to reschedule!

It's Always Something*
I don't think it is the Oncologist's either....I think it is incompetent staff......I always tell my Onc about anything at all that the little girls don't do correctly....they just do not understand how hard this fight is...and we sure don't need the added stress of messing up our appointments. Deep Breath.... and forward you go..........prayers coming your way.

I agree with you, GlowMore. In fact, isometimes when I phone in a symptom or a question, they answer it but I really don't think they run it past the oncologist. That is why I always tell my oncologist (or remind him of a call I made and my problem) when I meet with him. The one time he actually ran a few tests just to rule out stuff.
Yes. Deep breathing is definitelyl needed here. Prayers to you!
