Home from hospital
home from hospital. I went to Dr. On Friday for ultra sound and while waiting to go in, my oncologist nurse came in and told me when I was done, go straight to hospital, I was being admitted. Do I have time to go
home? No. So .straight to hospital I go, thinking I was a direct admit. Not! Two hours later, no food, I was admitted, oh we will feed you - clear liquids and NPO after 12 to prep for colonoscopy. WHAT!
i tried to convince the nurses wine was clear liquids, no. I'ld share still a resounding no! Even offered them some of my special stash (prep mix). They didn't fall for it. :-( I had to drink alone.
So to make an interesting story short, (honestly I am tired),
wil continue. Jcl! That's me.

Next series
well I finished stage one of my treatments. Feb 9 I start taxol once a week for 8 weeks. Had issues with my port again, but they think they have figured out the problem, at least we hope so.
happy to have the flu behind us. even with the flu shot, it wasn't the right strain.
Hope to have the blood clots under control. Believe they are from the port.
Not sure how long between treatment and radiation, but hoping a month. If I have a break, will be going to surprise two of my grand children in dayton Ohio for an international wintergard competition. It's where they throw sabers, flags and rifles. Amazing.
Take care all. We are having horrid weather again!
