5 Years
Five years ago today I embarked on a journey that would change my life forever. It was the hardest part of my life but the most defining part to date. At 7:30 AM I slid onto a table where I remained for half a day only to awaken 14 hours later a different person. Some would frown at some of the losses I suffered that day and since then, but I view as better than losing it all which we will all do some day. For those of you ready to start your battle, in the midst of, or in the healing process the fight is more than worth it. I didn’t have much of a Christmas in 2009, with my Dad committing suicide in September 2 months before I was told I had cancer and then starting my fight 1 week before Christmas just wasn’t at the forefront of my life. Since 2009 every Christmas since then has had a special meaning. Three new grandchildren since then not to mention many other blessings such as the fine people I have come to know on this site has changed my life forever. It’s 7:30 now and today is a new day and I am going to enjoy it. I suggest you do the same, you will never have the chance to relive December 18, 2014 so take full advantage now.

Thank You All!!!
I don't frequent as much because work keeps me busy but I am glad there are many regulars here to push the new fighters on. Matt for you, I would shell out alot more than 3 cents your posts are worth more than any lottery has paid out. One of these days we need to chat in person with a milk shake in hand. I am getting quite the reputation as a milk shake fanatic at lunch time. So I guess you could say I am practicing for that meeting.
Thanks again...........fight on .....heal on
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.
