NED 5 YEARS-mmmt - JUST SPOTTED

Hi Guys, been reading all posts don't do much writing since I lost my daughter.  I have had a total hyst in 2009 MMMT stage 1a grade 3. 6 rounds of chemo.  Friday after a long day of stressful driving, went to the b/room and saw bright red blood on toilet paper, I almost fainted.  I have moved from where my Doc is and at a lost right now.  Anyway, I prayed and got some piece and I am really relaxed and thinking what I should do next. I will call a Doc on tues and see if i can be seen here in Florida.  I have not established any medical arrangements since I have moved here.

Since the first spot, nothing more, completely clean three days now.  Any thoughts?

what could have caused this crazy spot.  Any thoughts?

    Sorry for your fright Nempark.

    Dear God My heart skipped a beat, but it is not useful jumping to conclusion so fast,  First try to remember if you were constipated around that time,any straining  re; bowel movement ? could be from internal cracks or tears, Are you absolutely sure it was from vagina ?

    Bright red and sudden disappearance sounds like rectal problem, here is hoping, really hoping that the cause is constipation , in any case see a doctor soon. 

     HOLDING YOU UP ,Take deep slow breaths when you feel worry coming on,  A friendly  reminder that  worry  changes nothing but your blood pressure, and ruins your day with no useful purpose..

    blood spotting

    i have the same thing periodically.  I thave the same thing periodically.  The first time it happened it freaked me out and i called the gyno/oncologist.  It has happened periodically.  We did relate it to Hemmorrhoids as that can cause some spotting.  I was told if i really had more spotting and wanted to know where it was coming from the test is using a tampon (wonderful).  But that would tell you if it was coming vaginally or rectally.  Another thing i was told is that bright red could be internal/external hemmorrhoids due to the color.  could you call your old Dr and talk to their office to discuss while you seak out a new one.

    each time i call my Dr's office they check when the lat scan and internal was done as well as colonoscopy.  If it isn't from the cancer you could also seek out a GI dr if you haven't had a colonoscopy recently.  I had one this past december which confirmed many internal hemmorrhoids which helps conclude the reason for the spotting

    i am praying it is just hemmorrihoids for you as well.  Let us know

    I do have a small hemmorhoid and that day I drove a long time. I am trying to dismiss any thing serious.  I am going to follow Moli's advise and not to worry too much.  until I decide what to do. Sharon you made me feel better. thank you

    I know how you feel,  internal bleeding is so scary.  But glad you are feeling better.

      Thnx for additional info .  I am banking on it being hard stool, and aggravated haemorrhoids from sitting too long,causing blood pooling in veins in the anus.  please Lord let it be so. Relax ,don't sponsor worry, but check it out pronto.

    Thanks Guys!! Moli you made me laugh

    I spoke to my gyn/onc today and he said he dosen't seem to think that it's anything but I still have to check it out.  He referred me to a Doc here in Florida and I called today.  They need records before I see them and foolish me I forgot to ask if they take my insurance.  So I will have to talk to them tomorrow. I do have my initial records.  It is a good reminder to always get copies of your records. By The way, I do have a hemmorrhoid from my last colonoscopy 2010. due for one. Lord have mercy!!!! 

    Believe me Guys, even when my beloved daughter was sick, I did not feel this sick to my stomach and even when I was first dx I don't remember feeling this

    I like your gyn/oncs thoughts about your bleeding.  I, too, hope it is nothing, but certainly it should be checked out.  May I ask where in Florida you are living now?

    You live across the State of Florida from me. When I had my one and only symptom of stage 3A UPSC - two tiny bright red spots of blood on my panties-I used a Q-tip to confirm that the blood had its origin vaginally. Well, needless to say , I knew this was a very bad  symptom in a post-menopausal woman and arranged a gynecological appt right away.  You don't need to use a tampon after all!
