Is there any alternative options besides radiation that anyone knows of.

Hello breegrinde
I also was diagnosed with Triple Negative Invasive Ductile Carcinoma, but mine was back in 2002. I had a Lumpectomy on my left breast and also a Lymphectomy under my left arm with 19 Lymph Nodes taken and 6 had cancer cells. Then had a Port implanted in my right chest, then chemo therapy (5FU/Adriamycin/Cytoxin) 6 Treatments & then 33 Days of Radiation. I did what my Oncologist advised me to do.......and believe me....the Radiation Scared me the most. But I did it....and I'm still here TWELVE YEARS LATER..... Many people will search for and even use Alternative methods....it is your choice. But I decided that my best bet was to LISTEN FOR GUIDANCE and go with my Gut Reaction. These years have not been easy and many things have happened along the way....but so far the Cancer has not returned. Sending you Prayers for Strength and Courage.

I don't think anything is
I don't think anything is quite like it. I had 33 sessions and have never regretted it. It caused slight lung damage but I have no symptoms at all. I am still well after two years. One thing that is important is where you do it. I live in a small country in Europe and the facilities aren't great. I went to live in our capital city for six weeks without my family just to be near the top facility in our country. Go to the best hospital you can even if it means driving/flying longer. Good luck, Anna

When you are going throw any
When you are going throw any stage of the cancer looking to the survival ratio or benefit ration of treatment. Many patients try to run for all the possible treatment like allopathy, radiation, herbal treatment. You must follow yourself to the best treatment along with well diagnosis.

I ahve had extensive radiation. I dont believe there are alternatives. The way they do radiationnow is much better, and they are able to protect vital areas. everyone is different how they tolerte it, my skin did very well. which surprises me as I am very fair
