Stuart Scott
I never saw his speech this summer as I spent most of the summer hospitalized, but saw Stuart passed away today and viewed his speech. I love what he said.
"When you die, it does not mean that you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, while you live and the manner in which you live." - Stuart Scott

His workouts during chemo
Yes, an inspiration. I watched him several months ago online detailing his workouts during his cancer treatments. Anyone looking for a little motivation this New Year's for exercising should find some clips of him pushing through his workouts. Amazing.

His speech which I just viewed for the first time is very inspirational whether you are going down the same road or an easier or harder road or even know somebody with cancer.

Moved
I actually found myself very moved by this news today. I grew up with Stuart Scott on SportsCenter; he had an obvious love of life and passion for sports. Someone mentioned his "post chemo" workouts. I actually posted a link that Men's Health article because it inspired me so much. The man actually came home right from the chemo treatments and worked out. Ridiculously awesome. Below this comment you can find a link to that article. He wrote it himself. It's a great read.
But I guess his young age of 49 has me thinking a lot today of my own mortality, of how I have to get into the habit of making each day special rather than just getting comfortable into a routine. Whether or not my cancer comes back, I need to live life to the fullest NOW. Stuart Scott is just another in a long line of WARRIORS, some of you are right here on this forum, who have inspired me to do just that. You are ALL as "cool as the other side of the pillow."
