Hey all
Hi guys
Thank you for your replies to my last thread about inflammation. I hope you are all having a nice time at the moment!
My mum has her MRI in two weeks!!
Just out of interest, now that she's about 11 weeks post-treatment, is it normal that she still feels fatigued? She'so worried because it's not consistent, one day she will feel fine and another day she feels like it' a struggle to stay out of bed, why is that?
Happy Christmas to everybody and a great new year ahead I hope.

I experienced some of what your mom is regarding fatigue--two steps forward, then one step back. It's normal, believe me. Happy New Year to you and your Mom!

Oh yes! I remember it well & almost 2 years post treatment still have days when if I could, I would have a day in bed. Just 2 months after treatment ended, I had my sister & her daughter visit from Australia. They stayed with me for 'support'. My sister vacuumed once in the month she was here & never prepared a snack even. Looking back I honestly don't know how I did it. But it is normal to have good days & bad days energy wise. Eventually more good days than bad. Good luck for scans. Wishing you & your Mum a Happy 2015

Liz - I LOVE your story:) Rarely, if ever, do I laugh on this site!
I am laughing because I can identify with your experience. It's sad when it happens but later we can look at the situation & laugh.

I am 6 months post treatment so twice as long as your mum and I can tell you she will be light years away from where she is in the next three months. Even though I am not back to "normal" I am much better off than I was 3 months ago. When I was at your mums stage of the recovery I was still extremely fatigued, needing naps everyday, counting on friends and family still for help. Not up to foodshopping, cooking, cleaning etc.... More bad days than good but now although there are those days I drag myself out of bed and not quite sure how I even got through the day I must say there are more good days than bad. Wishing her the best to come in 2015
