Holiday Season Greetings from Bluerose
Hello Everyone,
I'm sure most of you won't remember me but I was a frequent member on this website for quite some time a few years back. Haven't been around much of late but recently received a hello from one of my site friends and that reminded me to check in.
I am in a bit of a hurry this morning as I have yet another doctor's appointment this morning but wanted to take a minute to wish everyone of you on this website a very Merry Christmas and all the very best in the New Year. I hope you all have the love of family and friends surrounding you to help get you through all the challenges you might face with cancer and know that you have been given a great gift in having this site to help you in your journey with this horrible disease. The support of others who have been there or are presently there can be so important as you probably have already found.
All the Best in 2015. You are not alone.
Hugs to all,
Bluerose

Good to see you around. Yes I got a message through my email that there was a note left for me by a longtime member of the site and that gave me the kick I needed to come in and say hello and to wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season. I am glad there is that connection with the site even if I don't drop in daily anymore.
How are you doing? What's new with you? Hope you are doing well and that you have fun plans for the Holiday season. Do let me know how you are and what you have been up to if you have a moment.
Take good care and I will be back on and off to see who is around and to just check in and say hi.
All the best in 2015 - I pray 2015 will go down as the year that cancer will be cured for all. I know that day is near.
Blessings to you and yours,
Bluerose

Good to see you again and hear that you are doing well.
Unfortunately, this year is doubly sad for me after losing my husband in 2013 and now my daughter Johnnybegood in July of this year. Cancer is relentless and I also hope the cure is on the horizon. So many beautiful people have been lost.
Peace to you.
Luv,
Wolfen

i only drop in now and then, too. it has been 5 yesrs since I lost my husband and I'm doing ok. This time of year is a little hard at times, but I am blessed with good memories and a good support system. I have been able to do some traveling with family and friends. You take care of yourself. Fay

I was so sad to hear about your double loss in such a short period of time too. My prayers and thoughts are with you. I know you are a very strong person and know you will work your way through the grief hopefully with the help of loved ones near and far. If you ever want to chat about anything please don't hesitate to drop me a note. Sometimes I get alerts on my email about mesages but sometimes I don't so not sure what's up with the site in this regard. I have however been coming in more lately so will check for responses in a few days again.
All the best and I will definitely say a prayer for you as you work through the grieving process for your losses. Isn't it amazing how strong the human spirit really can be? I am always amazed.
Blessings,
Bluerose

So glad to hear that you are travelling Fay, that says volumes about the power of the human spirit and how in time the strong pick themselves up after a trauma like you have been through with your husband's death and start again. Travelling is such a great way to get back into the swing of life, discovering new places and learning about our world that give us all kinds of new perspectives on life. Good for you Fay, glad to hear this.
I am coming to the site a little more of late as I mentioned before and will probably continue to drop by for a bit more in the near future as I like to keep in touch with the site.
It's so true, this time of year is very hard for lots of people, so many memories of friends and other loved ones who have left us but hopefully we can count our blessings for the good times spent with them when they were here on this wild and crazy planet. We are lucky to be able to say that we were blessed with being a part of their lives when they were here in our lives. Blessed indeed.
I have to get going now unfortunately, have to lay down for a bit. I think the Xmas goodies have finally gotten to me. lol. How I can eat that much at this time of the year I will never know. But I do, year after year. lol. Oh well thank goodness this time only comes once a year or you would have to grease me to get me through the door in my home. lol.
Great to hear from you Fay and talk to you soon.
All the very best in 2015.
