Sore Throat Advice Needed
Have any of you dealt with a constant sore throat for 12 weeks after radiation? When did it finally go away? It's so bad Hydrocodone doesn't help and neither have any of my onc's suggestions. It hurts to eat and talk. Thanks!

sore throat
MrsBD,
For me it was Magic Mouth Wash (Oregon vintage) which worked for me. I went through 6 bottles and did not waste a drop.
I do hope you feel better soon, as you should be turning the side effects corner soon.

if it contiues contact your doc

Thank you. I used MM for mouth sores earlier and it worked well. It just might do the trick.

Sore throat
I had a sore throat all during and after my treatment.
I think mine was from dehydration.
In 2013, I had swallowing issues, and had a sore throat for months. I was taking pain meds all the time.
Swallowing got so hard, I ended up with a feeding tube. Suddenly, I was getting the hydration I needed - sore throat was gone within a week.
Hydrate Hydrate Hydrate!

Thank you. I know I haven't been eating or drinking enough because of the sore throat. I sure don't want a feeling tube, so I will follow your advice!
