2 Years Clear!

Hi Everyone!

I have not posted in awhile, but I continue to lurk & read new stories & updates on an almost daily basis..

I wanted to let everyone know I just cleared my 2 year check-up. My official surgery date was 1/28/13, but I now graduate to the twice yearly appointments.

I remember joining this group in late 2012 & so many of you being supportive and so open with your experiences & information. I don't know where else I could have gone for so much help in the middle of such an emotional crisis. God was always there & my family so supportive, but THIS GROUP had my 'go-to girls!'

I feel blessed to be clear of this disease, but I have found I had to pull back. So many of you continue to suffer, and I found the losses of Marianne & Jan hard to take in addition to not hearing from Dr. Beila & the lady from Israel (sorry, her name escapes me at the minute.)

I feel like I got off SO easy...

At any rate wanted to let everyone know my good news and maybe provide some hope for the newcomers!

    Congratulations Kathy G.

    That's wonderful news.  I will be excited to get to 2 years as well.  I will hit 1 year on Jan. 3, 2015.  This is a great group to be a part of.

    Nothing like a good bit of news to start the day here in England.  SO pleased for you.  Thanks for keeping us in the picture.  It's so important to share the good as well as the bad.
