    Yes. The surgery was

    Yes. The surgery was successful. They took out more liver than originally planned. 30 to 40% of liver removed. Also removed gull bladder. The surgeon said he got everything questionable.

    This was the first surgery that landed me in medium care. One step under intensive care. The nurses are awesome.

    i was downgraded today to normal care but I'm hoping they don't move me. Fingers crossed. 

    I'm still on a clear liquids diet waiting for some gas to pass.

    Wake up digestive system.

    Pretty good so far! That liver will grow back and you don't need your gall bladder. Keep us posted.

    Update. I'm probably going home tomorrow. I expected I would be in the hospital until Friday. Everything seemed to fall into place. I think the prayers for a speedy recovery were heard and are being granted. I'm feeling pretty good and happy it is going so well.

    This is really great news.

    This is really great news. Going back home earlier than expected is always so nice. Home is best place for rest and recovery.

    I'm so glad your surgery

    went so well and that you are going home soon.  Take care of yourself, get plenty of rest and excerise.  I have been thinking of you and am so happy everything went well.

    I'm so glad to hear that the surgery went well.  When the surgeon says they got everything, that is something to really celebrate.
