Cypress Cynthia Updated 12/5/14 (New update 12/6/14)
Following is what Eileen's daughter, Katherine, posted yesterday. Let's continue to keep them in our thoughts and prayers.
Mom had a rough night, but a pretty good day. She ate a little egg and some popsicle. She even put in jeans and walked to the end of the driveway twice. First time I have seen her in real clothes in at least a month, maybe two. She is still pretty confused, however.
xoxo,
Jean

The post from Katherine above was from last week. She doesn't know why it just posted yesterday. Here is her new message. Keep the prayers coming.
So my last post should have been posted right before Thanksgiving. I don't know why it took so long to post. Unfortunately, I think Mom rallied for her sisters, her anniversary, and Thanksgiving. Last week was rough. She was very confused and not sleeping. I went to visit her yesterday and she seems less confused, but is weaker and is sleeping a lot. I don't know that she has much longer, but she has tricked us before. I just extremely grateful that she is more peaceful.

I pray for peace, and no pain for Eileen. My heart is broken, my mind is numb. How can this be - who makes this decision. I am angry.
There is no 'How to' book on how to deal with losing a close, strong WARRIOR who battle breast cancer for more than 23 years. There are no words of comfort for CC's loved ones.
All I can do is pray, and hope for a miracle for my dear beloved Friend - My New Orlean's Saints' Sister.
All I know, is that I am a better person for knowing my dear Friend.
I have learned - that Education is priceless when it comes to our HEALTH... Be a part of your cure, part of your journey decision's.
I have learned to be 'BRAVE' ...
I have learned to 'SMILE', again ...
Thank you - my dear precious CC

Prayers for you Jean, and for Eileen & Danny and all of the Family. I was on the Hospice Vigil with my Sister in 2010 when she died from Pancreatic Cancer and the Hospice Nurses were so wonderful. It is wonderful that Eileen is so strong and able to walk to the end of the driveway and able to eat a little. All of the women on this Board who have been touched by her Courage send her Love and pray for her Courage and Strength. None of us know the time or the place we will step over into the next world, but we do know that we are never forsaken and that God has us in His Hand.

I left CSN for quite awhile.
I left CSN for quite awhile. I needed a break. I came back when I read of what CC is going through. I really respect her, value her, and consider her a rock and important part of CSN.
I do not want to think of her passing away. I do not want her to go. It brings me to tears.
She is an incredible woman with wise words for all.
She is full of grace and tenderdness, fun and laughter, a lively spirit.
I pray for a positive change in her circumstances.
