Topotecan
So I havent been on this site for awhile. Just finished up with Doxil and for some reason my CA's have been going up. So we are going to do another scan then proceed with topotecan. What are peoples experience with it. Were you able to work, I only work 3 days a week.

I found this drug very easy
I found this drug very easy to tolerate. I was also working part time last year. I wish you great success. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me, but it just might for you. Best wishes!!

Me, too
I had a severe, incapacitating reaction to my second dose of Doxil. If I am well enough, I will start Topotecan next Friday. I will hold out high hopes for both of us!

Topotecan
I just started this on Friday once a week for six weeks then a check of ca125 and then three weeks off. It would be nice to hear if anyone has had good luck with this drug.

I did six rounds of topo without too much trouble. Biggest problem for me and chemo has always been constipation. They gave me decadron and zofran first then topo. We finally stopped the zofran and the constipation was gone. Did not get nausea with the decadron. Did experience some sores in my mouth and it kept my counts down for awhile. One spot on my liver did go away and about 6 lymph nodes stayed stable, but now others are growing. I got a dose 3 weeks in a row then 2 weeks off. For a lot of people it seems to keep things stable even though counts can rise. Good luck, hope it helps for you!
