Tijuana Mexico
A close friend who is a cancer survivor underwent radiation and chemo and then traveled to Tijuana for alternative homeopathic medicine. It is an all natural approach with treatment lasting a week, he went every 3 months for the first year and then every 6 months, now he goes annually but uses the recipes (not products) daily at home. He says he is a new man. Feels better than he did prior to cancer.
Of course our insurance will not pay for any of this but he claims it is worth everthing and the cost is not that much.
Has anyone here ever considered or received treatment from Tijuana??

Not for me.........
I lost a very good friend who went for stem cell treatment for kidney failure, it did not work and he passed. I'll stay in the US. There is homeopathic medicne here, my sister used for years. Her health is not very good. I think i'm in better shape with cancer and emphysema then she is. Just my opnion or 2C

At least this was a friend
that you know.....and not the usual "3rd cousin of a friend's friend" who went to Tijuana. The thing is......this friend did the chemo and the rads....THEN went to Mexico for homeopathic medicine. Way I see it, that's the way to do it if a person is wanting to try wheat grass and herbs......get the big guns first.....then a little trip to Mexico would be a very nice vacation.....I'd wait till it was cold up here, then make that trip.... .

Thanks HondoHondo said:Hi Shell
This is a very difficult subject to bring up as a lot of people are not for it and believe only in medical doctors for cancer treatment. Click on my name Hondo and you can read my post on what I been through and what I think about ACT.

Thanks Hondo and everyone else. I think I'll investigate the wheat grass. I watched a very impressive documentary about it and bought the book by the girl.

If so....
If in fact, all the alernative applications and treatments were justified, the occurance and reoccurance of the disease would be drastically reduced. Not that there are healthy ways to treat yourself, but as far as curing or preventing cancer? I have my reservations based on common sense.

A world of difference
There are a lot of glowing stories out there about the wonderful effects people have received from various alternative medical treatments. Please read carefully, and weigh the differences between personal anecdote and scientific evidence.

Contraversial for sure, but
Hi Shell, I am with Hondo. The reputable homeopathic people will not tell you to forgo medical treatment but to use their treatment as a after treatment or preventative. I steer clear of any who want you to buy their supplements or foods. I know Jim lived three months longer than they said he would by drinking raw juices and BarleyMax and have read confirmed cases of people living years, Hondo is one, using vegetable juices and whole natural food. All the cases I read the patient went through conventional, chemo and rsdiation first. Do you research. I am still unpacking my books but when I run across the book I read that helped Jim I will PM you. Debbie

How does homeopathy
How does homeopathy work?
Can you tell me how it cured your friend's cancer?
I'm comfortable with understanding medical terminology, so I don't mind if your reply is detailed. I will be interested to read the research too, so I look forward to your reply

Estelle,
I'm not the OP but I believe she was saying he feels better now that he has done the Mexican therapy. Traditional USA medicine was used first to get rid of the cancer. After that, who cares what you try?
Just my 2¢

I think I came across a bit bolshy. I meant that I am genuinely interested. I'm really glad they were helped by it. Unfortunately I can't edit the post, as I can see it reads back a bit curt.
I'm interested and I want to see the research, I want to know how it works.

Hi Estelle,
I think you can edit for only the first 24 hours or less. One post I was able to, other ones posted yesterday I can't. Maybe someone here knows the answer.
