good news after EUA
I had an exam under anesthesia 2 weeks ago. It included a biopsy so I had a bit of healing time, stayed home from work for a few days and needed percocet for those days. Feeling much better and met with my surgeon today. We talked through all the post-exam stuff I had been feeling and he was very clear in explaining things to me. We'll do this again in 6 months.
I'm counting the days until Oct. 18. That was my last day of treatment 2 years ago and I'm using it as my anniversary day. I think I got that idea from Martha.

So glad to hear you are feeling better and were able to take a few days off, also glad all went well. The 18th will be here before you know it so Happy Anniversary in advance ! I went for my anascopy last week but was not healed enough for the procedure, now scheduled for November, no pun intended but can't wait till that's behind me.

I'm so glad you are feeling better and that when October 18th. rolls around, you'll feel like celebrating! I'll be celebrating that day too--for you and for me--that's my birthday. The 2-year mark is a big one. Surviving this disease for 2 years with no recurrence makes the risk of recurrence go down, so you have every reason to be hopeful and encouraged that you've beaten this disease. I felt so much better at the 2-year mark and feel that that's when I finally turned the corner. May you continue to get all good news! Now, go party!

I'll include you in my celebration and drink a little toast to you.
