I HAVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT THIS ALOT
Everyone's replies that I have read are good ones. I have been sitting here thinking deep down in my heart what I could say that no one else has said but all the words are already on the board. So this is what I came up with. It was the time my husband shaved my head while taking chemo. After he was finished I could not even bring it to myself to look at him. He told me several times to look at him and finely I did. He told me I was beautiful, it's not what is on my head or how I looked but what is in my heart. He told me that he loved me no matter what. We then hugged each other and started crying. So the best words I can come up with is love and caring and after 41yrs. of marriage also the vows we said together at our wedding. He is my best friend. When I read the title my first thought was my husband. Our experience was much the same as yours. And through it all he has been there with me.
