I think this is something that warrants investigation
I have been waiting a couple of days to see if someone responds who has had similar symptoms. It appears not. Given the armpits are a location of a concentration of lymph nodes I would suggest these symptoms warrant investigation by your oncologist. I know when I have my periodic checkups with my oncologist he always feels the area under my jaw and under my armpits for swelling. Of course there are a number of things that can cause sore and swollen lymph nodes but I would not ignore this if it does not improve soon.

Cisplatin, Epirubicin, 5 FU - Four Year SurvivorTalked to the doctor about the pain in the arm pits. Now he has the same pain behind his knees. Doctor took more exrays showed nothing. The morphen don't even take the pain away. They gave him a nerve pill that took the pain away but he said it was making him crazy. Now the doctor said to take one enstead of 2 a day. Waiting to see what happened now
