Help Please!!
So after 2 weeks of back and forth with MD Anderson and the lady assuring me she was getting my dad an appointment she says today the insurance won't pay enough!! I'm beyond frustrated and don't know what to do next. Where else should we go??? This had been the only place we looked into and had no idea this would come up! Any suggestions??

I am not sure of your location but here are some suggestions
Julie,
I am not sure of your location but most of the NCCN member institutions are excellent choices for treatment.
Here is a link to their locations; http://www.nccn.org/members/network.asp
If you let us know were your Dad is located we could make better suggestions.

Julie,
It looks like you got some great suggestions on Facebook. I think any of those facilities could be good choices. If money were no object and I could go anywhere my choices would be:
1. http://www.upmc.com/Pages/default.aspx
4. http://www.mayoclinic.org/patient-visitor-guide/minnesota
These are based on experiences I have followed during the four years I have been a part of this forum.
I am a bit confused about the issue with your Dad’s insurance at MD Anderson. Does your Dad’s insurance company have a medical advocate that could intervene with MD Anderson on your Dad’s behalf? It just seems odd that the insurance says you are “in network” and MD Anderson will not accept their fee schedule.
