Free Scarf Offer
While going through my pile of pamphlets yesterday from my cancer center, I came across this free scarf offer, thought it was local but turns out it's national. I called the 888 number and the lady was so nice and gave me their web site, and my scarf is on its way.

Love this company
Many of us here have received a free scarf or headwrap from Good Wishes -- I have a beautiful silk headwrap they sent me back in 2009 when I was doing chemo. I highly recommend them to anyone who's doing chemo, or if chemo is in your future.
I won't spoil the surprise, but they also include a special something in every package that was so touching, it moved me to tears. Very caring company.

Good Wishes Web Site.....
Wow Puffin.....I've never heard of this one and wish that I had known about it back when I was bald... They didn't even tell me about the Free Wigs from the Cancer Society back then...had to find that out for myself after I had already spent over $500 on two new wigs.... thank you for posting this one for the gals who don't know about it....

I got scarfs from several
I got scarfs from several places. Honestly, I much prefered the ones I made. Hubby used to turn up at least once a week with new material. 5 years later there are still a few I use when it's cold and the wind is blowing. When many aterial is on sale, I buy and make scarfs and give to the BC Navigator at my facility. So easy to make and customize as you want/like.

Nice folks!
I just ordered my scarf since I'm going back to chemo. There is a spot on the order form where they ask for your story. In a couple of days I got a reply that my scarf will be coming, but they also sent along the nicest note and hopeful words. Very good people to work with!
