ER Visit :(
Last week I started to have lower abdominal pain. I thought I had a UTI. The pain got progressively worse and I thought I might have a kidney stone, the pain was just on the right side. By Monday I thought I was going to die, so Monday night went to the ER. We just moved 3 months ago so I didn't know any Drs and my onc is a couple hours away. I had a CT and I had an upper kidney infection. My right ureter and kidney was inflamed. There was also scar tissue from my surgery strangling my ureter. I have never had pain this bad, not even after surgery. Has anyone ever had this before? Cancer can sure mess up a lot of things. My liver function is also high. The CT also showed 2 small nodules on my lung. Last scan in June just showed 1 that was unchanged for about a year. I am already getting scared. I don't know if I can go through this crap again! Thanks for listening. I am on this site everyday.

Pulling for you
We'll that sucks but infection sounds way better than more cancer. Let's hope the lung nodules are no big deal but even if they are there are lots of treatments out there. Stay strong and try to keep the 'what ifs' at bay. Good luck, I have your back!

Hoping for the bestPhil64 said:Sandy, i hope it all is
Sandy, i hope it all is resolved soon and I hope you don't have to endur another round of treatment / surgery. I know how you feel. Praying for the best news for you.
Sandy,
Unfortunately, cancer is that gift that seems to keep giving. I'm sorry you are having problems again. Please know that everybody is on my prayer list. The love, support and caring on this board alone is amazing. It has been a surprise to me, how it effects everything from eating to sleeping and everything in between.
