    Book

My dear friend (a breast cancer survivor) gave me this book before my husband's cancer journey started.  It is amazing, a true miracle.  I think I'll read it again, I need some inspiration.

    Another good book

'Lessons From the Light' by Kenneth Ring. He studied the near death experience and interviewed thousands around the world. He began as an objective scientist but his study transformed him. I believe we don't have to be afraid, I was scared briefly early in my cancer journey but some calming 'force' washed over me and I haven't been afraid since; even when my cancer came back. I don't know if it was 'god,' the 'universe' or my own mind but that's what happened. It's actually a relief to not be afraid to die. Whenever it happens I just don't want it to hurt.
