Back to Surgeon!
Hi Everyone,
Found out last week that there is a small spot on my left kidney (1.5 to 2 cm), so back to the surgeon I must go. I was kinda hoping I was all done with surgeries, and I am really hoping that this one will be ok, as I do not have anymore spare kidneys, this is my one and only.
I do have some good news, I will be a Grandmother again in February to a beautiful baby girl, this will make number seven for me! I am as excited about this one as I was about the first one!
I will keep everyone informed, Drs. visit is Thursday, the 18.

Thank you all for always supporting! Fox, you are right Stage 1 has no idea how to play with us! I do think I was a Stage 3 for about 5 minutes, or maybe not, so much has happened since August of 2011. I will just keep getting parts cut out as long as I can and continue to wake with a smile upon my face!

Brenda, I can't help but admire how you remain calm and pleasant as you face each challenge that you encounter - and all with a smile! I am sorry you have more to go through. But I know that you will take this on with grace and determination. I am thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers. Stay strong, and lean on us when you need to.
And congratulations on your grandbaby that will be here before you know it! What a gift.

Thanks for all the great karma, prayers, and well wishes they have absolutely worked! I just received the call and Doctors are not real sure what that spot on my right kidney is, but they are pretty sure it is not cancer!!! That is all we needed to hear! I am back to every 3 months check up, but we are extremely happy to be doing them!

Sorry new people, but for us who have been here awhile and have had battles beyond nephrectomy, it is a bit more meaningful to be doing well after a few rounds in this heavyweight fight. A few big hits aren't enough to put us down for the count. Rhonda Roussey has nothing on Brenda. BTW Brenda, I never had any doubt.
