Checking In!!! Just passed the 2 year mark and still NED!

in Head and Neck Cancer #1

i see a lot of new names out there. hopefully the old ones are still out there too.

other than all of the "normal" difficulties, life is good. i've gained back 20 of the 40 pounds i lost. mostly due to mass consumption of mexican food. my anxiety is through the roof but whatever. we have 4 dogs now even though 3 was my limit. we are about to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of my clothing store. and now i just started a nonprofit organization called ROCSTART - RALLYING FOR ORAL CANCER SUPPORT THROUGH ART. (one of the pages on my site is called THE FACES OF ORAL CANCER. If you'd like to be included in the slideshow please let me know. All i need is a headshot, the date of your diagnosis and how old you were and where your primary tumor was. If you are family of anyone who is no longer with us and would like to add them as a tribute i would be honored to add them.)

i'd love to hear from you all!!!

    congrats on 2 years!  that is quite a milestone.  NED is always good to hear.  i couldn't even imagine 4 dogs.  i have one and go nuts with just her sometimes.  i pray you have many more cancerversaries.  i hope to see your post when you're celebrating your 60th!!

    Hey, congrats on both the 2 year all clear and on Rocstart! I'd love to be a part of it, and I work in a field where I have decent social network reach and I can possible get artists to contribute pieces to sell for the charity (video games). Can we chat on FB if you're interested? :-)

    Two Years NED - WOW - CONGRATS!

    So happy for you! I was just upgraded from a 3 month follow up to a 6 month follow up. Thanks for giving us HOPE! ENJOY!
