TJ,
I hope you are feeling better and I am so sorry for your surgery related issues. I had a radical nephrectomy in December 2013 and it was smooth. I have had other complications and return of cancer, but what I would most press upon you is to listen to your doctor's weigh what they say, get additional opions and rest, take it easy and do not stress about things beyond your control. Soon enough you will be back up to full speed and then you can press for answers you may not feel up to at this point. You can also take on new challenges and get back to a since of normalty.
God Bless You and hope you feel better and better each day.
Tom
Thanks for all your warm replies and helpful information. So far after having my tube removed, my labs have come back good, my white counts are good, glucose levels are back to normal.
Walking is getting much better now, not as winded anymore only walking a couple houses away. My endurance is coming back I was able to walk 2 miles, with mild tiredness when I was done walking. Slowly I'm starting to feel somewhat of a normalness come back to my life.
Just happy and feel blessed to be home with my kids. Primary Dr has said to be back to my old self give it about a year. So time will tell.
I have to goto USC every 2 mths, and every 3 mths to my local uroligist for scans and blood work to keep and eye on me.
Thanks for all your helpful support.
