TODAY IS CT DAY

Hi friends, and I hope you are all doing well. CT at 9am today. I have no reason to believe it won't go well as after 15 weekly treatments of Cisplatin, the mediastinal nodes are still just dead tissue after the Taxotere destroyed them. All of the damage to my body and the severe Pleural Leakage is almost healed. The small nodules in my right lower lobe have showed shrinkage while on the cisplatin. This was the very first drug used on me in 2010, and the only drug my cancer has not broke through. with Labor Day and plans to celebrate my sons 25th birthday, I made it clear to my Dr's Nurse Supervisor, I want the news, good or bad when they get the result tomorrow. I can mentally process that much better than white knuckling the waiting for days.

Any prayers, positive MOJO will for sure be appreciated.

    Mike,

    Your struggle has been long and difficult and you inspire all of us with the strength and dertermination you show everyday on fighting the beast. My deepest hopes that the results show the therapies have beat it back. It sounds like you have some earlier indications there is at least partial resolution with the Cisplatin so that alone must be quite reassuring. Best wishes to you my friend, Don
