What am I gonna' do with you guys?
I received a gift from my friends here at CSN:)
Your benevolence has touched my heart. You guys really snookered me this time......didn't see it coming....and so fast. Thank all of you involved:). Your support really counts....this back pain dFor the past year has taxed me no.end. The trial drug is fading now...too low a dose for me.......now I'm 2 months out to do a higher dose....16 instead of 4. Hopefully that will get it.
It just never seems to end.....slight growth in pleura from scans. Starting back on chemo Friday after month trial delay.....will have to repeat when time comes.
You know it's funny.....you think time will soften your memory and you'll fade to black.....attrition takes a toll on membership and then others stop coming...it's nice to be remembered still.
But you guys do care and you outdld yourselves this time...BIG:)
I've always maintained that this community has the power to make a difference in one another's lives...I believed that yesterday.....I believe that today...and I'll believe that tomorrow......
I could not let this act of love go unnoticed; had to say thank you:)
I'm still here if you're counting, LOL! Made my 10 year anniversary in June living with cancer:)
I just can't believe how wonderful you all are and how blesses i am that I found all of you. You've made a big difference in my life and hope somewhere along the way I reciprocated.
Note: This post compliments of your gift...it's pretty cool!
Take care for now...thank you for staying by my side all this time...may we have more days with each other.
BIG HUGS to ya'll!!!
Love Craig

10 years! It is a good number, though the journey has not been an easy one, and continues to get rougher for you.
You are most deserved of this gift. You are much loved and cared about here on the forum.
You say 'You've made a big difference in my life and hope somewhere along the way I reciprocated.' and I say there is no doubt that you have indeed reciprocated, in a very, very big way.
May you get MANY years joy from your gift, but know, the gift comes packed with the love and respect we have for you.

We are all here to help one another when we can. If finacially we will, if emotionally we will, if wisdom and experience we will. You have always been here to help everyone you could with your dear words and experience. You enjoy that new device, and remember that we are all on this board to help. God Bless and thanks for being a wonderful part of our community

We were glad to help a
We were glad to help a friend. It is weird we form relationships here that we can not form else where. The pain and suffering of cancer is a kinship all on its own. I tried to describe the difficulties of cancer, but until one has gone through it, it is hard to understand. My sister's father in law just went through the surgery. Tomorrow he will find out if he is NED for 6 months.
So, to all of our old friends and our new friends, thanks for all of the inspiration that you have brought to me!
Best Always, mike
PS Keep up the good fight!

A writer needs his tools, dear man...
we had to make sure you could keep connecting with us!
And as repayment, you get to write a little more to us here, deal?

And the gift has already rewarded us with seeing your posts once again. We all truly missed them so something HAD to be done, and of course your buddies had to take care of it, knowing you would deeply appreciate it. We're here for you and each other. So enjoy and no excuses for not posting LOL.
Love and hugs,
Winter Marie
