Dear Friends,

This is what we have sent out:

"My sweet, strong, amazing husband of 26 years passed away this morning just after sunrise in beautiful Lanikai surrounded by his family.

Mahalo nui loa to family and friends who have stayed with us through this journey.

Aloha no au la 'oe
I truly love you ****"

For you, you know there is so much more.  When the time comes I will write about our 5 days in hospice at our home.  It was a very hard time but we are so pleased that he was home.  When he passed this morning at 6:30am I was by his side with his best friend and sister.  Our daughter and my mother entered the room within a few minutes.  Once he journeyed on, we all felt so relieved that he was at peace.  He fought so hard for so long and was ready to go.  I know I am going to need you in the days ahead and I know you will be here.

    My dear Kathleen, words fail to convey my deepest sympathy to you and your family.  At least you can be reassured that **** is now pain free and at peace.  He's probably flying over the sands and water of Kailua Beach right now.  Please post when you are able to - we are concerned that you'll be okay.  Call if you need anything.

    Describe how I feel upon hearing youre words. There is no way to put into words that a life of a loving father , husband and friend has eneded . there are no real words for me to say to you Kathleen other than I am very happy to have seen a couple who had so much love for family and each other. You have the love of your family and your cyber family to hold you up and get you thru the many years to come My deepest sympathy. Ron.

    You were such a source of strength for your husband and family. I am glad he is now pain free and at peace.

    Kathleen,

    There are no words that come to mind. Only how sorry we are for your loss. I'm glad your wonderful husband is not suffering anymore. It's a horrible thing to watch someone that you love suffering. We will continue to pray for strength for you and your family. Please take care of yourself. I'm sure **** is riding a big one upstairs.
