Sad News - Jan
It is with a heavy heart that I share this; Jan passed away yesterday, surrounded by family. I believe her name here was Jazzy1. She had a wonderful spirit and fought hard. She will be deeply missed. My prayers are with her family.

She was doing so well, 4 years Ned and 1 recurrence. That says everyone is different. It is sad news.
I am so sad to hear this news. I loved to read Jan's encouraging and often upbeat posts both for others and just as an example of how she was doing. I cannot quite believe she is gone. A long and courageous journey for a beautiful soul. Wishing kind thoughts to her family and close friends...

This is the saddest of news. Jan always gave support and encouragement to others on this board. She will be sorely missed.
This is a wicked disease and takes too many beautiful women far to early.
I just spoke to her on 8/6 while she was in the hospital. I was getting concerned when I hadn't heard from her since last week. I am totally speachless and so saddened. Not only was she an inspiration but she was everyone's cheerleader. I had sent a card to what I believed was her home address last week and now questioning myself if I sent it to the right address. I am trying to hunt that down now.

We have all lost a friend
I am so sad to hear this news. She was a kind sweet encourager. Her loss is great for everyone on this board, she always had good advice and an encouraging word. I am so sad for her daughter, she wanted to live and see her all grown up. May God comfort her family.

Even though I am new to this group, there are certain names that you see quite often. Jazzy1 was one of them. Most of you who replied prior to mine are others. I've never seen the love and support and encouragement and the openess that this group has. I will be praying for the family. My heart is hurting. Thank you for letting us know.

Jan was such a fighter. I was afraid something was wrong when she did not answer my e- mail. She had always answered them right away. I am just sick to hear this. My tears are flowing. I feel like I lost a friend. Jan was always so positive and encouraged others. She was always looking for alternative things to fight the cancer as well as the traditional meds. I know she was so encouraged with the naturopath she was consulting, she ate healthy and exercised.. I know the Doxil took a tole on her body. I am deeply saddened and send my deepest sympathy to her husband and daughter. Her daughter just graduated from college. I try to find joy in each day,but it will be hard today. At least Jan is at peace. Another courageous warrior has lost the fight of this horrible disease.

Though I am a newbie on the USPC journey, I have been touched and inspired by the support, knowledge and love that is conveyed from so many of you. I send condolences to Jan's family and loved ones, including the many women warriors who generously share their experiences and wisdom and give strength to one another by posting on this discussion board.
