CT results
Had CT yesterday. everything looks good! Like many of us here, I was sooooo worried it came back which usually the really bad worrying starts a week before scan. Had my CT at 1:30, met with oncologist at 2 for results. Doctor has scheduled next CT scan for a year from now. WOW, kinda great, kinda scary. I was diagnosed with stage 4 three years ago, never thought I would be alive today and saying Thank You God!!!
Yesterday was one of the most joyous days of my life! Not only did I get a clean scan but totally unrelated to cancer..... My daughter who has had a drug addiction problem for many years has agreed to long term rehab. Thank You God!!!!!
Yesterday was full of blessings for me. God answered my prayers. I am on top of the world.
Clovergirl-I know you were at Clinic yesterday for your CT. Hope everything went well for you!

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had my 5 year check up with my colorectal surgeon in June and everything was fine. After 2 years I have had no scans. I was diagnosed as Stage 2. My colorectal surgeon said after next year he will release me from seeing him annually. I always get a little anxious before exam mainly from embarassment of the situation. May you have many more years of NED.

good news
Congratulations on your good news. Your story is an inspiration for me. I was unstaged because of a collection of complications at the time of my diagnosis and finally insisted well after my treatment that my oncologist tell me what the stage might have been and was told 3a 3b or 4. Scared the pants off me but I felt I needed to know. So, hearing good news from someone with stage 4 gives me a lot of hope.
And you incredible good news about your daughter is just so fantastic!

I am so very happy for you--that is such awesome news! I know you are breathing a huge sigh of relief. I'm glad to hear that your daughter is getting the help she needs and I wish her all the best. No doubt, knowing that she is turning her life around will help your health as well. God bless both of you!
