Radical Remission. Interesting and worth listening to.  In my opinion.   This is about how cancer survivors who have healed themselves through 9 common things. They have either never had chemo or chemo didn't work for them. I ordered the kindle book off of Amazon and it's easy reading and very informative.

    This was a great book.  Very good advice for Stage 4 cancer patients.

    I have this book

    It is a good book, though she does repeat herself over and over again. 

    I am almost the most positive person in the history of Cancer (OK, so I exaggerate) but I am 99.9 % positive 99.9% of the time, I eat fairly right, I meditate, exercise, enjoy life, yet my cancer has spread. Believe me, I feel like I am doing everything right, yet I'm not getting the miracle, and many who are just like me, aren't getting the miracle either. Who knows why some people do and some don't.  

    Radical Remission is good reading material, 'Knowledge is power' and I believe in getting as much down to earth info as I can (I get totally lost with the sientific stuff).

    I am about to read a book called The Emperor of All Maladies - A Biography of Cancer - by Siddhartha Mukherjee  It covers the history of Cancer. Might as well get to konw it, as its certainly getting to know me.

    I liked the pace of the book, becuase of my chemo brain, and so glad they are doing these studies. I agree not everyone gets relief.    Are you on chemo? Where are your tumors?

    Wait and see

    I am at the 'wait and see' stage. 

    I had a liver tumour, just one, ablated in April. My CEA has been dropping, so my Oncologist is 'watching' me.  He was going to put me back on chemo, but after conferring with some colleagues he decided to wait. 

    I have monthly blood work done, and August 14th I have a CT Scan.

    Great to hear about you CEA and that there is only one tumour and not more then that.  I was also at that point but my spot was tiny, tiny.  If I knew then what I know now, I would not have done standard chemo, but just done the chemoemolization.   Then I would have waited to see if more came up.  This is me, just looking back at how slow growing my lesions are.  Too late for that...

     

    You must be doing someting right if your cancer is not mutiplying.   Here's to a great scan!!!
