    She is free.   You are a beautiful mom and right there with her.  Your love was so complete and meant so much to jbg.  I will continue to pray for you and all your family.  I know you will miss your courageous, kind, joyful daughter.  I weep for you and pray that peace will come.

    Perhaps the only thing in life harder than watching someone we love more than life itself suffer is to watch them depart from life, even as they depart from the suffering too. My heart breaks for you Karen, as it does for all of us here, "the suvivors." It is a bitter survival; I hope it will bring you comfort to know that your daughter suffers no more, that she truly is free, and that you will long be able to cherish her memory and honor her life through your own.

    Her and myself started this journey pretty much together and I'm sad to see her leave but know that she has gone home to be with her Father.  She was such a wonderful inspiration on this board and glad that she is no longer suffering.  May you, Karen, find peace in knowing that your daughter is where she wants to be and not a life of struggling.  You have been through two deaths so closely together so this has to be especially hard on you.  May God's grace and strength be with you and may God bring Debra to His Loving hands and gently guide her to Heaven.  She will be missed terribly, but ultimately she is in a much better place.

    Karen, when I first joined this site (as a caretaker to my husband) you were also caring for your husband.  I followed your heartbreak then and now again.  Life is not fair, you should not have to suffer through two huge losses like you have.  Thank you for sharing so many experiences with both your husband and daughter.  You have many people here who admire you, including me.  I am so sorry your daughter is gone.  I have no words of comfort other than I am sorry.
