Endometrial & Cervical Adenocarcinoma DX
I finally heard back today. DXd with Uterine & Cervical CA + VIN III, VAIN III & CIN III. He said the uterine ca invaded my cervix. I'm relieved I finally know vs waiting for the results. The doc said to not worry about the VIN, CIN & VAIN right now bc he just wants to focus on the uterine & cervical ca for now (one step at a time). Rad Hyst scheduled for Sep 8 bc he is going to let me go on vacation before surgery. He said he'll stage the ca after surgery. Thank you all for putting up with my numerous messages & questions! Thanks to all who gave me some great advice! I will stay connected with you wonderful women! Thanks for your support. I'm going to bed as it's been a roller coaster! G'night ladies and my best positive vibes & prayers going out to those of you who are suffering, sad, in pain, lonely, or whatever your going through! We will stick together & get through our challenges.

So sorry to hear that.
I will be praying for you and pray you have a super vacation. Will pray for you on your surgery day. I do have a question. What is VIN, VAIN, CIN stand for? Sounds like that was alot to go through. Stay positive. You are a strong and amazing woman. My radical hysterectomy was one year ago today. Take care Jude

Have a fun and relaxing vacation, Jude.
I am sorry to hear that you have uterine cancer but am glad that you can go on your vacation before having surgery . I didn't have cancer in my cervix so I had a regular hysterectomy and not a radical one. Recovery was speedy so hopefully it will go as well for you. Like Jeanette , I don't know what CIN, VIN and VAIN stand for. I will say a prayer for you on Sept. 8th.
Best Wishes,
Cathy

Meaning of CIN, VAIN & VIN
Hi Jeanette & Cathy! Thank you so much for your replies to me! That means a lot! Thanks for the good thoughts & prayers too! CIN, VAIN & VIN stand for; CIN is Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia, VAIN is Vaginal Intraepithilial Neoplasia & VIN is Vulvar Intraepithilial Neoplasia which is a pre cancer of the surface layers of those organs. They are graded as I, II, & III. Grade III is more severe form & considered adenocarcinoma in situ. They will have to take more biopsies after hyst to see how invasive my VAIN & VIN are (hysterectomy will take care of my CIN) and if it has more severe invasion then will be considered Vaginal & Vulvar cancer and if you google treatments....pretty scary. I hope that helps. You guys take care! I'm thinking about you guys!
