Update On My Daughter, Johnnybegood
Cannot remember when I last posted. My girl is still in the fight, but just barely after enduring 6 very hard years. Twice in the last week, she has defied a 24 hour prognosis. I know in my heart that there will not be another rally, as she simply has nothing left in reserve. I have been here in Kentucky for over a month & watched her downhill slide. My son flew out on Saturday as the predicted end was inevitable & he was here for her 50th birthday celebration which she enjoyed a tiny bit of. In addition to pain patches, she is on a continous pain pump with extra doses to be administered every 20 min. She very seldom wakes & is rarely cognizant of what is happening or who is nearby. We can simply try to keep her comfortable & somewhat hydrated with very tiny amounts of liquids & jello as she can tolerate.
This is heartbreaking beyond belief. She is so frightened & I am once again helpless.
Luv,
Wolfen

Words can’t explain out sorrow
My heart goes out to you in all you have been through with your husband and now your daughter. We don’t know why bad things happen to good people but we do know God is there to give us the strength we need to go through them. My prayers are for you and your family

There is nothing to do to alter the journey. Being at her is is something incredibly meaningful and a blessing. She knows you are by her very step and your comfort is invaluable for her. Prayers for her comfort and your continued support. Don
