Did anyone have molecular testing done? Did you start a targeted treatment?

    Molecular profiling

    Just had this done 3 weeks ago. Hopefully I will know next week what trial I will be on.

    Ive never heard of molecular

    Ive never heard of molecular profiling. Is that when they look at your tumor tissue? Then evaluate treatment options?

    Yes/ 8 yrs ago when I had my debulking

    it determined what chemo would be the most effective.     Maria

    targeted testing

    I had p13k , and took Afinitor daily pills for several months. took care of the abdominal  but the ovarian cancer has moved to my liverl now using abraxone & avastin.  first month Ca125 has gone up. also have p53 no known  targeted treatment yet for it.
