Have cancer, prostrate 6 yrs. Major surgery, took everthing and surrounding tissue. was on lupron at first but couldn't take due to side effects. Had mat to bone at time of surgery. Very small spot. Was on casadex till it started to raise my psa and quit working. Doc says that happens. Now had first lupron shot about 3 mts ago and getting erections. is this normal. Im worried about whats next.

Most of us HT (ADT) patients experience the libido less "phenomenum" under the effect of Lupron. I wonder if your erections are due to a "streak of sex light or just a natural feeling.
In any case, erections and cancer do not relate. Having sex has nothing to do with prostate cancer spreading. Enjoy if you can.
Regarding the treatment, you may receive more opinions from posters here if you share more details of your initial diagnosis and present status.
What is your age and pathological stage?
Any symptoms?
Best wishes for improvments after Lupron.

Have had to slow down now just not the same. Hope you read other post and get back to me. I don't want to go to support group don't even like talking about it. Very few people know. Guess we know what stage I'm in.
