Gastritis
Has anyone here had a TAH robotic and developed gastritis years later. I has my surgery 11/11, had lymph nodes removed, were neg,
I was stage 1a, UPSC, had chemo and internal radiation. Been to so many doctors, I cant eat anything raw, meaning fruits and vegetable , no beef pork, just fish or chicken. now I'm gluten free and dairy free, I've lost 30 lbs in 4 months, I've had every test going. Now I'm going to Yale in CT,,I can't go anywhere or do anything. bland diet, been to Nathropath and accupucture, I will try anything to relieve this pain in my stomach. Just had a small bowel X-ray to look for adhesions, none were there. I take acid reducers and I need Vicidin the pain is so bad, and Xanax to get sleep. I have no life, I really need a. Pain patch
if someone has any ideas what could cause this? I didn't have any issues with my stomach during chemo and radiation.
prior to this I was in excellent health, my dr was so proud of me was traveling, doing volunteer work and felt very strong. Then starting getting nasusa and pain. I never had a problem with my GI and I never ate junk food always made everything homemade, and how I miss all of that, can't have salt or sugar either. I'm down to 103. That's what I weight when I was 15. Someone help me, please.

I am so sorry toDear Irene:
I am so sorry to hear that you are in so much pain. You said you have gone to many doctors Have you gone back to your gyne/oncologist? Did you have a PET/MRI? I wish I had answrs for you. What did the doctors say?

Nor is the amount of weight loss you've experienced. Your gut is trying to tell you something is making it terribly unhappy. Do you have a diagnosis other than "gastritis"? I agree with Kathy, have you seen your gyn/oncologist? A gastroenterologist? Have they had a look (endoscopy? upper GI? CT scan?) Those words "given your history" warrant a thorough investigation IMHO. I hope you've had that.

GI issues
I am sorry you are having so many issues after everything you have been through. Have you had a colonoscopy recently. Are you gluten free? the reason I ask is my daughter is celiac and prior to diagnosis she had all your symptoms and lost a lot of weight when she didn't need to. My husband has crohns disease (only diagnosed with a colonoscopy and also had the same symptoms.

Thanks for all your replays.
ive been to oncologist, GI, surgeon , had MRI, MRA, CT abd, Upper endo, US ABD, UGI small bowel series, been to ER to many times. And with all that I've been Neutropenic for years that's been being monitored ,y by. Oncologists.
they are stuntnted. They all say tests are normal. Now I'm going to a GI specialialist who specializes in GYN issues, but I've got to wait 3 weeks to get in. My endo shows chronic severe gastritis in my stomach.
I sure miss all my foods. I for sure thought it was my gallbladder but they say it's a normal GB. Just the thought of eating gives me anxiety knowing pain will follow.
what a terrible way to spend my life after surving cancer. I haven't had a colonoscopy the dr said I'm too weak for that, I think they are going to try the camera pill.
thanks ladies for your imput. What IMHO?
