Hair loss
I finished my teatments 1 week ago and I still have not lost my hair. It only thinned out a little. Has any one lost their hair this late after treatment was finished?

hair loss
hello sierra...glad your done treatment. i didnt start loosing my hair until about a month and a half after i finished treatment. mine just thinned out a lot and people couldnt even tell but when i washed my hair , my fingers would be full of strands. my hair has all grown back but its a different texture now. when it gets wet its like a sponge and sucks up all the water cause my new growth is really fine compaired to my other hair. it doesnt bother me cause i just tell myself that things could always be worse. bod bless you.. pem

I thinned out the first time I went through chemo and radiation with 5FU and mita. But when I needed to go through chemo again due to cancer going to liver....I did lose my hair. I was on 5FU and cisplatin that time. When it did grow back it was curly.
Many times it depends on what chemo you are taken....
Glad your treatment is over....wishing you the best.

Thanks for the info. IPem,
Thanks for the info. I am so tempted to color my hair but I think I will wait another month. I hate to color it now and then have it all fall out.

Maybe I won't lose my hair now. I want to color it because it looks like hell, but my luck it will all fall out because of the hair dye. I am just thankful that I did not lose my hair.
