Another scan.
Had a call from hospital last week to say Phred is having another mri this week. Don't know why. Thought it was a mistake but apparently not. Do know that for someone who is supposedly fine now he hasn't been feeling so good. Someone must have looked at his other scan and decided his pancreas is a knee or something. More scanxiety now....

Understandable to have some scanxiety. There is a lot of fear of the unkown. Keep us posted.
Thinking about you.

Thanks Jojo. Hopefully they are just being thorough. To be honest it is a blessing because if there is something wrong we don't want to wait 6 months more to find out. Hugs

Wishing you the best and hoping everything is ok. I agree with JoJo that it's best that they're being cautious and on top of things instead of letting them slide for six more months.

Keep us posted on the results of the mri this week. I'm the wife of a cancer survivor too. I'm also in the in between waiting game right now. We go over the results of my husbands scans on Wednesday. Waiting to see is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hard. I guess somehow we have to get use to it though. I keep telling my husband, this is our new normal. Hugs and prayers coming your way.

Good luck with your hubbys results cheatinlil. You are sadly right about the new normal. We will all eventually get used to this and the rollercoaster hills ie ups and downs get easier to bounce back from. We are still whistling though. Phred says it would be ok to have that annoying tune that is cancer running thru your head if it wasn't accompanied, in his case, by pain and unexplained violent sneezing. I can't get' I saw mummy kissing santa claus' out of my head at the moment!! Phred couldn't have a full body ct scan maybe this is why they are doing this.
Apny thanks for your kind thoughts too. Hope you are doing ok. Hugs to all , sorry for whinging. I lose it occasionally LOL. Hate seeing hubby sick.
Hugs to u all xox Melissa

Once you reach that understanding, life with cancer is a whole lot easier. You get to move forward and live. Not waste time worrying. I wish that I could teach this. But everyone is so different. You guys are doing good real quick in this process. Good for all of you. Enjoy life. Fox.

Pancreas is still a pancreas!
Hi all. Thanks for your prayers. Mri results came back confirming that it was Gregs pancreas not a tumour. Doc says they still need another meeting but everything looking good for now. Sounds like nodes are back to normal too.
