Anal cancer after partial vulvectomy
I had a partial vulvectomy about 4 yrs ago and I'm now diagnosed with anal cancer. I did my first week of chemo and radiation last week. Lost 10 lbs due to mouth sores. This is my last day of my 2nd week of radiation and I'm starting to bleed a little from where I had the partial vulvectomy. I'm supposed to do 6 weeks of radiation and chemo on week 1 & 5. Has anyone out there had anything like this?

I'm sorry you are having to go through chemo/rad 4 years after surgery. The radiation can be very hard on the skin, as you are finding out. My best advice is to make your radiation oncologist or nurse aware of this bleeding ASAP. I wish you all the very best with your treatment and hope you'll keep us posted.
