primary flat lesion lymphoma and adenocarcinoma invasive of the colon

Hi Tammy and sorry for the late response.  I haven't heard of cases here but I'm sure it's possible.  The reason they removed a portion of my small intestine was they thought I had another cancer (adenocarcinoma).  Turns out they were wrong or misdiagnosed.  A thorough examination of what they removed showed nothing according to my surgeon.  He stated they either made a mistake or it was removed during the orginal biopsy, thankfully.  One was enought to deal with .

thanks.  my friend who is 44 went for colonoscopy and they found 5 polyps 1 adenocarcinoma invasive and then they found a flat lesion.  after many tests and dr reviews they said it was malt lymphoma originating in the colon.  he was then diagnosed with 2 primary cancers! he is treating the colon cancer first and then the lymphoma.  I myself never heard of anyone i know with 2 primary cancers but i do know it can happen.  I just wanted to see if anyone had any info for me.
