Just read my mind
Wow - I was just about to start a new post asking about maxicat. She is a signet cell like me and we touched base now and then.

how do you find these things out, Marie?
OK, I see how you can search CSN members, but it only brings up a few things. Can you bring up their old threads?

On a person's profile page it will tell you the last time they signed in. If they were only reading and didn't sign in it does not capture that.
The only way I have found to pull up old posts is to go to the search function which is on the left just above the posting list. Unforturnately that search does not offer a way to search by profile name. If a person usually puts their "name" or other sign-off salutation, you can seach for the word/words. You will likely get other posts as well, but have a good chance of also getting what you want.
Other times, if my memory is good (lol) and there was a specific event or comment made, I will search by that. However, the words scan, CT, Pet, operation and the like appear too often to be useful in limiting the scope of the search.
Some times it just takes limiless times and will to keep looking to find what you want...lol.

P.S. A web search did not show any "bad results" when I seached for Maxiecat so hopefully she is well and busy with the kids.

So nice of you to think of us!
Hanging in there. My husband finished chemo and has a scan coming up, July 2. I do come on the forum daily and read and keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. when friends and family ask, I say " we're managing the cancer." I'm definitely having anxiety about the upcoming scan and so does my husband! At least we have World Cup to keep us occupied. We are huge soccer fans. Good news is that our middle child, our daughter, graduated from high school yesterday! My husband sat down with her after graduation and started crying. He told her that when he has been at his lowest points over the past 4 1/2 years, he prayed to be able to see her graduate. He was so happy yesterday!

Glad all is well. Im watching the opening game right now also. I'm not a huge soccer fan ordinarily but do enjoy the big matches - for all the energy and hype I think!

When people ask about my brother, I tell them he's stable and tolerating the chemo well.
I am glad he was able to be at your daughter's graduation. Now he has to keep improving so he can be at his daughter's wedding, etc...
Keep strong.

I'm glad your husband took part in your daughters special day. My husband has those same worries...our oldest graduates next year. Good luck on the scan...please let us know how it goes.

Don't be afraid of the scan. Just assume that all will be well. It usually is!!!

congratulations on your daughters graduation and I'm so happy your husband had a goal that was reached and here's to many more of those goals, and a daughter's graduation is so important and dear I'm not surprised he cried. I'm so happy for you both.

So happy he got to attend graduation too. My granddaughter was 5 months when diagnosed, I didn't think I'd live to hear her say Nana, but she graduated from kinder last week and turned 6. I was also very happy, my new goal, to see my oldest grandaughter graduate from high school, 4 years. We shall see.
Hang in there!

You can google their sign on names and it will bring up their threads. You can also search select words on ACS to bring up threads on any topic.

Hey Nana, Isn't it funny how our goals went from when I'm 99 to I want to see my kids . . . . . It was instantaneous. I got diagnosed, my daughter was pregnant within the year and my first thought when my grandson was born was that I want to be here in 5 years for him and be the best grandma ever. May we all live not only for them but for ourselves.
