Its back...:-( Does anybody have my type of Ovarian Cancer?

HI Ladies,

  I know I haven't been on here for a while because I pretended that I never had cancer.  But after three years in remission its back.  They found 3 small nodules on Pet scan.  They are in deep pelvis.  I am so frustrated because my type of ovarian cancer isn't "common" my oncologists say it doesn't really does not respond to chemo and that it is not curable.   My current Gyn oncologist wont do surgery right now because they are small and they don't even know if they can get to them as of right now because of the size and all my scare tissue along with the fact they don't know if they will find other sites of cancer that are small and didnt show up yet on scans.  I have gotten a second opinion but i am also getting a 3rd, 4th and 5th.  Ironically, since its slow growing a have some time to get these opinions. 

My type of ovarian cancer is: Invasive micropapillary serous ovarian carcinoma low grade.  Does anybody else have this type?  Please let me know.  Thanks

    Bur I am sorry about your recurrence. You went Three years in remission!  No reason to think you can't reach remission again, soon.

    I don't know how old you are, but I agree you are much too young for all this cancer crap!

    I am so sorry you've had a recurrence but I feel very hopeful for you, given that you had three years of remission.  I do not have your type either but hopefully someone else will chime in.  I totally agree with you - this is crap!

    I appreciate your positive support.  I love this site because of that.  I am 34 years old and I was dx at age 31 with stage 3c

    Low grade

    I have low grade PPC. Check out a couple of clinical trials using MEK inhibitors. They could be a good treatment for you.
