    Dr. Figlin

I'll go check the agenda, we are braving the insanity (i.e., traffice) and planning on driving up from San Diego if it's still Dr. Figlin speaking. The meetings in February were very productive and we enjoyed learning very much.

    LA Support Group

It's a one-hour talk. It's a more intimate setting than this larger convention. Usually there are only around 10 people attending and you can ask questions during the talk. They serve light snacks and after the talk if there is time, we put the chairs in a circle and introduce ourselves and have a discussion about what's going on with us. This group is organized by one of the social workers at the hospital and Dr. Figlin's nurse, Nancy, who has many years of experience in helping patients with kidney cancer. Often there are other members of Dr. Figlin's staff there too, like his PA.

    It's 5-7pm.

That's quite a drive. I drive up from Orange County, but usually arrange dinner with my son or one of my friends that live in LA so as to get as much out of the drive as possible.

    Hope to see you there.
