    Still here

Hey Debra. I'm OK. Nothing much is happening with me, taking my PARP pills twice a day, feel fine, waiting for the CT scan on June 11th and next CA125 test on June 18th. Hope to ace both.

Ordered tons of aftermarket automotive accessories off eBay and defaced / decorated my car to the extent where people stop and stare at it. Went to the movies, saw "Godzilla" and "Neighbors" and ate an insane amount of popcorn.

I read about your "nodule" scare and I can assure you that it is going to be fine. Almost all people have thyroid nodules visible on the ultrasound, 95% of them are benign and show "cold" on the nuclear thyroid uptake test (I had it done 2 years ago, it takes 2 days). Remaining 5% "hot" nodules may or may not be malignant TBD by needle biopsy. Even in the highly unlikely worst case scenario of a malignant nodule thyroid cancer is the envy of all cancers and almost always curable by surgery. So you and your mom shouldn't worry, you will be watching TV together for many years to come.

    Many hugs and best wishes,

    Alexandra

From Alexandras' mouth to Gods' ears.!!!!  If you say it's so, it's so!  Sooo glad you are having a good time and oh, how I envy the popcorn!!!  I sincerely believe, by sheer guts you ARE going to ace the scan and tests!! You have the "bullie" attitude I wish I had!   Not sure about the "years" of tv with mama...oh, I think we'll both be alive in years to come, but I may just SHOOT that damn tv!  Take care girl!
