Four years out from a late stage hypopharyngeal cancer diagnosis, Jim got an all clear from his ENT.  This is rare for this kind of cancer so we are very happy with this report and hope others find the news encouraging.

Remember: it's not cancer until they say it is cancer and, even then, statistics are just that.

    Four years!  He's almost at the "cured" point of time.  Nothing like a NED report to boost his moral (ALL of our morals, actually).

    Yes very good news for the diagnosis. It was suggested initially that was the cancer I had until the full diagnosis process. Early on, I looked at the useless prognosis stats and freaked myself out. So glad he is doing well and just another reason not to look at those stupid stats! Don

    I would love to ask though, what did your hubby do in the previous 4 years such as change diet , exercise etc ? Did your hubby watch his diet , such as cancer fighting foods , just go back to old eating habits ? I would love to know about changes people made after treatment to improve their chances of it not coming back ?

    Im so happy he has good news.
