    Thanks DJ!  I have been celebrating all weekend!  I still can't believe my luck.  However, the voice in the back of my head keeps remembering the doctor saying he wasn't convinced I was cancer free and that he didn't want me to worry about it right now, he would do the worrying!  I am still taking oxycodone for the pain but I hope the antibiotic will kick in and get rid of the infection and I will be back on track!   Good thoughts and prayers coming your way as well.

    I can't believe I am able to say this but it is so true!  I saw the ENT oncologist yesterday about the result of my tongue biopsy and CT.  The biopsy was negative - first time that has happened since the tongue cancer started and the CT was clear as well.  The doctor is not convinced there isn't cancer somewhere in my tongue.  However, he is treating me for 14 days for a fungal infection because I am having a great deal of pain in my tongue and ear.  I see him in 2 weeks and if I am still in pain he will do another biopsy and most likely an MRI.  I will deal with that when I have to!  I feel like I am the luckiest old lady on the planet!  Thank you so much for your support and I wish each and every one of you a doctor's visit like I had yesterday.  I can't seem to stop smiling!!!!!!!!!!
